Safe Guarding

Safeguarding is of key importance to our club. We hold the highest standards in this area. Everybody who is part of the club will hold a vaild, indate DBS Check. From board members, coaches and volunteers to groundsman and helpers. The club has the power to verify and issue DBS checks directly.

The club aims to follow the FA's Safeguarding Policies and Birminghams Safeguarding Childrens Board policies. Safeguarding children and young people means keeping them safe from neglect and abuse.  Any one who comes into contact with children and families has a responsibility to safeguard and promote their welfare.  Professionals have a duty to do so.  Safeguarding and promoting welfare means:

- Protecting children from maltreatment

- Preventing impairment of children's health or development

- Ensuring children and young people are growing in

- Offering safe and effective care provisions

- Taking action to enable all children to have the best life chances
